After causing quiet the commotion in Hampton, a young bull moose has been successfully tranquilized and released.
The moose had been the talk of the town since Sunday until N.H Fish and Game wildlife biologists determined that the moose was in too congested of an area to find its way back to the woods.
Hampton Police Department, Hampton Fire/ Rescue and Hampton Public Works Department participated in the effort to remove the moose.
The moose estimated to be 2.5 years old and healthy has been released in a suitable habitat further north.

Retiring chief justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court has been named dean of the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
Chief Justice John Broderick replaces retiring Dean John Hutson, who led the school since 2000.
After 15 years on the New Hampshire Supreme Court, becoming Chief Justice in 2004, Broderick has decided to step down.
Broderick said it is honored to be selected to lead the school during a time of great opportunity and change.

Corporal Michael W. Ouellette, 28, a member of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines, died March 22, 2009, during a firefight in the Now Zad district of Helmand province, Afghanistan.
Nearly a year and a half later, The Navy Cross, the highest medal of valor awarded by the Navy will be presented to his family.
Oullette was a brave marine who continued to lead his squad in fierce battle, even after suffering a mortal wound.
Navy Secretary Ray Mabus will present the medal to Ouellette's family in an 11 a.m. ceremony at the Marine Reserve Support Center in Londonderry, N.H

The White House has postponed a meeting with Democratic and Republican congressional leaders to Nov. 30 after a scheduling conflict.
The meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, will be the first time President Obama sits down with the bipartisan leadership since the Nov. 2 elections, where Democrats lost control of the house. The session could presage cooperation or friction between Obama and House speaker-in-waiting John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
White House and congressional officials said meeting topics will include spending reductions, international trade and energy policy.


FairPoint Communication and its major union agreed on making 90 temporary call center employees permanent.
After an 18 month battle with management both customers and employees can rejoice.
This newest change will result in better job security for employees and better service for customers.
The change affects temporary workers at FairPoint facilities in
Portland and Bangor, Maine, Manchester, N.H. and Burlington, Vt.
In addition to the new permanent employees, FairPoint has also agreed to add 33 new positions.

After gaining a new owner Mt Cranmore went under a $6 million facelift this past summer.
Now open Mt Cranmore presents skiiers and boarders with a new chair lift, new trails, relocation and expansion of the tubing park, and brand new snow making machines.
The improvements made for this ski season will improve the overall satisfaction of customers with fresher snow and fewer lines.
There was a ribbon cutting and grand opening of Cranmore Mountains Children's Center today, which was another result of the $6 million expenditure.
                       

The McIntyre ski are in Manchester’s Grand Opening was today at 5:30.
This season the ski area introduces a brand new lodge.
The new building will offer a full kitchen, a party room, and WI-FI for all those non-skiers looking to stay warm inside.
The construction project and positions created at the lodge are a welcome relief for people looking for jobs.
Work on the new lodge began in June and has since been completed and is ready for skiers.
